An established industry player is seeking a Quality Manager to join their Civil Engineering division. This role involves overseeing quality management throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of a significant road project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a construction-related field and extensive experience in quality management, ensuring high standards are maintained and effectively communicating with various stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced project-based Quality Manager to join our Civil Engineering division in Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Project Manager for the A5 Western Transport Corridor, you will oversee and monitor quality management controls throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of the project.
Your responsibilities will include managing quality requirements for structures, earthworks, drainage, and surfacing on a linear road project, liaising and communicating with multiple stakeholders and JV partners. Additionally, you will report on performance and maintain live data to track quality progress throughout the project.
Sound knowledge of the Construction Industry with experience in Quality Management is essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring strict deadlines are met and work is prioritised appropriately. Attention to detail is key, along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
