About the role:

As part of the Grupo Bimbo family, 'superior quality always' is a core belief of the organisation. At St Pierre, quality is our priority in our mission to make every day extraordinary. Reporting to our Head of Quality & Compliance, key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure quality KPIs are managed and deliver accurate reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Local (EU) and international site visits to bakeries and service providers.
  • Attendance of trials, preproduction or first production runs.
  • Management of non-conformances and closure with bakery partners via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Work closely with our bakery partners’ quality teams, building relationships and having regular quality meetings.
  • Lead quality initiatives with our bakery partners.
  • Lead crisis management, using risk assessment techniques to co-ordinate actions.
  • Animate and develop St Pierre Quality culture.
  • Develop and improve St Pierre internal Quality systems.
About you:

The successful candidate will have a successful track record of relevant experience in a food sector Quality role and/or food manufacturing or factory environment. Your profile will include:

  • BSc Accredited Degree (Hons) in Food Technology/Food Science etc. or equivalent industrial experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a food sector quality role and/or factory environment.
  • Organised and efficient at prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with ability to work on your own as well.
  • Self-motivated, works well under pressure and achieve consistently high results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical mind and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and foreign bakery partners, via first-class communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft programmes, in particular Excel (additional training can be provided).
  • Fast learner when it comes to IT software/programmes.
  • Bakery category experience an advantage.
  • French and/or Spanish speaking an advantage.
  • Has full driving licence.
  • Ability to travel at short notice if required (as exception).
  • Not restricted from travel to US.
  • Resilience and a sense of humour!
