An excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to take ownership of QMS and QA across multiple sites in UK and Europe.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 p/a + bonus and benefits
Location: Trafford Park
I’m working with a leading global company that specialise in the production of specialised equipment solutions, who are now recruiting for a Quality Manager on a permanent basis. This critical role is at the heart of ensuring quality and compliance across a diverse range of products, taking ownership of QA and QMS across 4 sites in Europe. The role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 p/a and an annual bonus of up to 20% - you’ll predominantly be based from their site in Trafford Park, however you can expect occasional travel (2-3 days a month) to one of three other key sites to offer support and guidance.
What you'll do:
As a Quality Manager, you will play an integral role in maintaining the high standards of our client's globally recognised brand with a focus on implementing, maintaining and improving ISO certifications across multiple international sites. You’ll be responsible for the Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all production sites, driving continual improvement in quality standards while also planning and implementing internal and external quality audits. You will ensure that all documentation is in place for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods to comply with agreed specifications and support the management in overseeing the safety of the laboratory and accuracy of documentation methods and calibrations. As Quality Manager, part of your responsibility is to support investigations into non-conforming products both internally and at suppliers' end, as well as dealing with customer complaints promptly and implementing corrective action processes.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from working in a manufacturing or production environment with a background within a regulated setting such as Med Device, Pharma or Laboratory. You will have a solid understanding and experience of ISO 9001, while knowledge of other standards such as ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO13485 would also be advantageous. Your experience conducting internal and external audits will be crucial to your success in this role, so your application should demonstrate auditor training or qualifications.
