Job description

A specialist manufacturer of high–quality plastic products, assemblies and tooling is currently seeking a Quality Manager to take responsibility of their Quality Department, which consists of 5 members and a state–of–the–art technical centre featuring laser scanning, vision measuring and CMM equipment.

Working within a mainly automotive environment, you will be responsible for giving direction in all quality activities within the business, ensuring the highest levels of service are provided to their customers, which range from SMEs to large international OEMs.

Up to 47,500, Electric Car, 33 days holiday, company pension, early finish Friday

As a Quality Manager, your duties will include:

  1. Leading the Quality team
  2. Taking responsibility for the Quality Management System and certification audits
  3. Overseeing PPAP, APQP, SPC, CMM and supplier audits
  4. Management of supplier quality and development
  5. Management of inspection processes

To be successful in the role of Quality Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  1. Have management experience with a Quality Engineering function
  2. Be experienced in an IATF16949:2016 manufacturing environment
  3. Have a good knowledge of plastic injection moulding
  4. Possess experience of in quality inspections and analysis, including CMM
  5. Have experience of Root cause analysis, including non–conformity management
