Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in cosmetics manufacturing to lead their Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet internal standards, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a hands-on leadership approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Systems Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GMP, ISO 22716, and other relevant industry standards.

  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to global and regional cosmetic regulations (e.g., FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, REACH, etc.)

  3. Product Quality Oversight: Review and approve batch records, COAs, raw material specs, and finished goods testing. Lead root cause analysis for any deviations or non-conformances.

  4. Audits & Inspections: Lead internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits. Ensure CAPA plans are developed, implemented, and monitored effectively.

  5. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of QA/QC professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, quality ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

  6. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and R&D to qualify and monitor raw material and packaging suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments.

  7. Continuous Improvement: Use tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and SPC to drive process improvements and increase manufacturing quality and efficiency.

About You:

  1. Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Quality Management within cosmetics/personal care product manufacturing.

  2. Strong working knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, and cosmetic regulatory standards.

  3. Proven experience managing quality systems and leading teams.

  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  5. Proficient in quality tools such as CAPA, RCA, SPC, FMEA, etc.

  6. Experience with ERP/QMS software is a plus.
