An opportunity exists for an ambitious Quality Manager, sitting on the site Leadership team, taking a lead on all site quality activities and improvement initiatives, acting as the champion for the Quality Culture on site, whilst leading, motivating and mentoring the site quality team, ensuring clear objectives and talent development plans are in place for their continued success and retention.
This is an all-encompassing quality role, involving improvement of the QMS, development of the audit system, close liaison with engineering and production to support 8D activities, management of KPIs around COPQ, scrap reduction and process improvement, customer and supplier quality liaison and 'root cause' corrective actions, customer liaison and concern resolution, warranty campaigns, as well APQP and launch activities with new product introduction.
As a SLT member, it's expected that the Quality Manager would actively seek to engage in best practice sharing with other international group sites.

Due to the nature of this role, this is predominately site based in Dewsbury with the option of one day per week working from home where business needs allow. Some infrequent travel to customer sites.
