Quality Manager

Derby

£45,000-£52,000 + Monday to Friday, 40hrs (8:00am-5:00pm) + 10% Performance Bonus + Holiday + Pension (up to 10%) + Sick Pay + Company Benefits

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in sub-contract manufacturing processes for a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, Medical, Energy, Automotive and Aerospace. Training and development is encouraged within the company at all levels and there is scope for the right person to develop through the business.

The day to day responsibility for this role will be to manage the Quality department and coordinate with all staff to maintain and improve the quality culture throughout. This role will be a combination of both quality management and technical activities. The successful candidate will lead their own department and be integral to future improvements.

The Role:

1. Quality Manager/ Technical Manager
2. Managing quality systems and standards across a site.
3. Maintaining process and improvements
4. Office hours, Monday to Friday

The Person:

1. Quality Manager and/ or Technical Manager
2. Senior Quality Engineer or Lead Quality Engineer or Metallurgist who are looking to progress into leadership encouraged to apply
3. Quality engineering background
4. Relevant industry knowledge - Aerospace, Automotive, Defence or Metals or Metallurgy similar etc.
5. Experience leading both internal and external audits
