An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to ensure high standards in the construction of a large-scale district heating network in Bristol. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are thoroughly performed during the construction of our client's large scale district heat network in Bristol. Acting as the client, the Quality Manager will ensure that contractors produce, check, and quality-assure all required documentation.
This role involves working closely with contractors, project managers, and support teams to implement robust quality assurance processes. The Quality Manager will provide oversight, advice, and support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with agreed standards and specifications. Reporting to the Senior Project Managers and Head of Delivery, the Quality Manager will champion continuous improvement in construction quality standards and ensure all deliverables align with the project's overall goals. The role will need to create quality framework documents for other staff to use and use their experience and expertise in quality management to develop procedures and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance for construction projects, ideally involving buried utilities in urban environments. They should demonstrate leadership in quality control, possess excellent documentation review skills, and exhibit a keen understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
For this role, the expectation is to be available to work from our client's Bristol office full time with consideration given to some hybrid working. Candidates must be commutable to Bristol 5 days a week.
