Qualifications

Job description

Quality Inspector / Technician

Leeds Huddersfield Halifax Dewsbury Wakefield

£20.00 - £22.00p/h inclusive of holiday pay

PAYE / Umbrella

Initial 3-month contract

Manufacturing / QHSE / Engineering

Based in West Yorkshire, I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client who requires a Quality Inspector / Technician to join their team on a temporary contract with an initial 3-month commitment. My client is a leading manufacturer of technical equipment across the oil & gas and chemical industries.

Responsibilities:
  1. Review risk assessments & monitor operations following company QHSE policies
  2. Complete internal audit activities including preparation and inspections
  3. Administer and resolve customer complaints including RCA and CAPA
  4. Work closely with QHSE Manager and engage in all H&S and environment activities
  5. Create quality plans, ITP and SOPs
  6. Manage the calibration system

Requirements:
  1. Proven background working within quality
  2. Experience in an engineering / manufacturing capacity
  3. Expert user of Microsoft Office packages
  4. Able to demonstrate knowledge of RCA and CAPA
  5. Prompt decision making and attention to detail
