Qualifications

  • Erfahrung als Qualitätsinspektor oder in der Qualitätssicherung, idealerweise im Bereich Retrofit oder Bau.
  • Starke Kenntnisse der relevanten Bauvorschriften und Qualitätsstandards.

Responsibilities

  • Durchführung von Baustelleninspektionen zur Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Standards.

Job description

Principal People are working with a leading retrofit business dedicated to delivering high-quality energy efficiency improvements and sustainable solutions across the North West of England.

They are committed to ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards, helping to create safer, warmer, and more energy-efficient homes for communities.

They are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

This is a vital role that will involve ensuring retrofit projects are delivered to the highest standards, meeting internal business expectations and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site inspections across the North West region to ensure retrofit works comply with company standards and industry regulations.
  2. Assess workmanship quality, ensuring installations align with safety, environmental, and building standards.
  3. Document inspection findings, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements where required.
  4. Liaise with site teams, contractors, and project managers to resolve quality concerns efficiently.
  5. Provide support and guidance to teams to promote best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
  6. Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure remedial works have been completed satisfactorily.

Key Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Assurance role, ideally within retrofit, construction, or property improvement sectors.
  2. Strong knowledge of relevant building regulations and quality standards.
  3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and support site teams effectively.
  4. Full UK driving licence with the willingness to travel across the North West.
