Salary: Up to £20 per hour

About the Client:
Our client is a sub-contractor operating in high volume production. They supply globally and manufacture batches up to 10,000. A growing company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Goods in/out inspection
2. Completing FAIR/PPAP reports
3. Set gauging for new jobs
4. In-house calibration of micrometers, verniers, gap, and screw thread gauges
5. Analysis of data
6. Verify first offs to drawings, gauges, and work orders

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience working in a production/mechanical industry
2. Previously completed FAIR/PPAP reports
3. Used verniers, micrometers, and gauges
4. Worked in high volume manufacturing sites
5. Knowledge of project work, 8D knowledge, PPAP, and associated documents
6. Completed internal audits

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday
8.30am – 5.30pm, 4pm finish on Fridays
Salary: Up to £20 per hour depending on experience
