Job Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Leicester
Shift: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 12:30pm on Fri
Pay Rate: £13.50 to £14.00 per hour

Our Client:

An established sheet metal / fabrication company are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all products manufactured at the facility. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated products to ensure they meet quality standards
2. Identify and record any defects or deviations from specifications
3. Collaborate with production and assembly teams to address and resolve quality issues
4. Perform visual inspections and measurements on various components and products
5. Maintain detailed records and documentation of inspection results and findings
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Experience:

1. Proven experience in a quality inspection role
2. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
3. Competent in the use of height gauges, verniers, and measuring tapes
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
8. Certification or training in quality control is a plus
