Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting inspections, analysing data, and implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain compliance with industry regulations.


Duties

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  2. Responsible for all aspects of quality control, including PPAP, receiving inspection, First Article inspection, and Final Inspection.
  3. Analyse inspection results and compile reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Ensure all customer requirements and preferences are met.
  5. Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Participate in AS9100, customer, and internal audits.
  7. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.

Experience

  1. Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within an engineering field.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  3. Ability to use inspection tools, such as digital calipers, micrometers, gauging tools, etc.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
