This Quality Inspector vacancy is available with a fast growing, globally operating engineering organization who supply cutting edge products into one of the world's highest regulated industries.

Since their establishment over 100 years ago, this impressive engineering organisation has grown into a global powerhouse and now employs over 500 people across North America, Asia and Europe. Serving the global Aerospace industry with bespoke products, this organisation has become a critical supplier to a number of high profile organizations, including Rolls Royce and Boeing.

Based in LEEDS, just a few minutes from the M62, M1 and M621 motorways, the successful Quality Inspector will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Huddersfield, Bradford, Dewsbury, Halifax, Castleford, Pontefract, Normanton, Harrogate and Wetherby.

For the Quality Inspector, we are searching for individuals who possess the following:

  • IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL - Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 etc.)
  • Previous experience working in an Inspection or CNC Machining focused role, ideally within a high precision Engineering/Manufacturing environment
  • The ability to effectively use measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Verniers, Callipers, Gauges, CMM, Faro Arm and Shadowgraphs
  • Excellent attention to detail

Working Hours of the Quality Inspector:
40 Hours per week, spread across a rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1 / AM Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:20
  • Week 2 / PM Shift: Monday to Thursday 13:40 - 22:00 / Friday 10:40 - 19:00

In return, the Quality Inspector will receive:

  • Starting Salary: £40,690.00 per annum (£15.65 base + 25% shift allowance)
