Quality Inspector

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join an innovative Medical Device company based in Gloucestershire.

Due to growth within the Gloucester based site, our client is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Quality team to ensure products and processes meet the highest quality standards.

Duties of the Quality Inspector job include:

1. Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring tools
2. Verify product compliance with engineering drawings and standards
3. Utilise a variety of measuring devices: torque drivers, micrometres, height gauges
4. Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports
5. Identify and report non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with production and engineering teams

Key skills and experience for the Quality Inspector job are:

1. Experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role
2. Proficiency in operating CMM's and interpreting CMM data
3. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
4. Familiar with a wide range of measurement tools and techniques
