The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Redditch

Shift:

Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 2:30am and Thursdays 4:30pm to 1:30am (39hrs)

Pay: £18.16/ £36,828 per annum, rising to £19.45/ £39,444 + overtime = earnings of £40,000 and upwards.

Overtime: available at 1.33 Mon-Fri, 1.5 Saturday and double time Sunday.

Environment: Manufacturing - precision engineering

Role: Permanent

Holidays/Benefits: Holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to dimensionally inspect machined and fabricated components with hand-held measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following; however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
• Competent at reading engineering drawings
• Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand-held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers etc.

Commutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Warwick and surrounding areas.
