Job description

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Shift: Day shift

Pay: £15 per hour

Location: Leicestershire, LE2

The Company:
A well-established manufacturing company who produce high quality machined and fabricated products.

The Quality Inspector Role:
- Quality check parts at each stage of the process including first offs and final inspections.
- Use quality checking tools including micrometres, verniers, calipers etc.
- Record and file all test and audit reports.

The Candidate:
- Mechanical Engineering Background; knowledge of Steel standards and certifications would be beneficial.
- Capability to read Engineering Drawings.
- Basic IT Skills.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Familiar with ISO Standards and processes.
- Ability to perform part audits, first-off and final inspections of materials and processes, WIP and finished goods.
- Determine product compliance to drawings, processes and technical specifications.
- Be familiar with established inspection procedures and have the capability to use inspection/testing tools and instruments; knowledge of CMM Equipment would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Romer Absolute Faro Arm would be an advantage.
- Capability to Record & File all test and audit reports.
- Identify and document nonconforming material in accordance with applicable procedures.
