Quality Assurance - Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)
Location: Dudley
Shift: 06:00 - 16:30
Pay: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour

Are you detail-driven, passionate about food quality, and ready to step into a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis, with great potential for long-term progression!

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly quality checks, following SOPs to the letter.
  2. Performing hands-on inspections to ensure food safety and quality standards are always met.
  3. Completing and maintaining accurate QA documentation - precision matters!
  4. Understanding and working within internal, customer, and regulatory compliance standards.
  5. Identifying and escalating any non-conformances swiftly to maintain top-tier standards.
  6. Supporting root cause investigations to help reduce quality failures and improve performance.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Ideally, you'll hold Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 - but if not, we'll train you up.
  2. Strong communication skills - you'll need to work closely with production and management teams.
  3. A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the business.
  4. Comfortable using IT systems and inputting data accurately.
  5. Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Bonus points if you have experience in the meat industry or knowledge of animal welfare standards.
