Job description

For over 60 years, Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists have been recruiting professionals like you for permanent, temporary and contract positions. We are currently working with an organisation in Chelmsford who are looking to hire a Quality Inspector.

They are a well-established engineering company that supply into a number of different sectors and they require an additional member of staff due to increased workload.

This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and final inspections with measuring equipment and CMM.
  • Complete inspection reports promptly.
  • Authorize Works Orders after inspections.
  • Complete F.A.I.R.s as needed.
  • Calibrate equipment.
Skills & Experience required:
  • Previous experience in a Quality / Mechanical Inspector role.
  • Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques.
  • Familiar with quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  • CMM experience preferred (PCDMIS).
