The Role:
- Visual inspections at various stages of cycle, both first off and final inspection.
- Producing FAIRs, first article inspection reports.
- Use a variety of measuring equipment, such as verniers, height gauges and micrometers to perform the job.
- Identify and raise non conformance/defects - comparing against product specifications.
- Ownership of inspection reports, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with other departments, where necessary.
The Company:
- Experience within an Inspection department.
- Experienced using measuring equipment - such as verniers, gauges and micrometers.
- GD&T knowledge - beneficial.
- Understanding engineering drawings.
