QUALITY INSPECTOR
CHARD, SOMERSET
27,000 - 30,000 + 28 DAYS + BONUS + BENEFITS

The Role:

  1. Visual inspections at various stages of cycle, both first off and final inspection.
  2. Producing FAIRs, first article inspection reports.
  3. Use a variety of measuring equipment, such as verniers, height gauges and micrometers to perform the job.
  4. Identify and raise non conformance/defects - comparing against product specifications.
  5. Ownership of inspection reports, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, where necessary.

The Company:

  1. Experience within an Inspection department.
  2. Experienced using measuring equipment - such as verniers, gauges and micrometers.
  3. GD&T knowledge - beneficial.
  4. Understanding engineering drawings.
