Quality Inspector

£25000 - £30000pa
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to support the Quality Supervisor in an Inspection Role, based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of the QA Department, with full training provided and the potential to develop into other QHSE functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform sample inspection of work in progress and finished parts before packaging.
  2. Assist in cleaning and maintaining quality control standards.
  3. Work closely with the QA Supervisor to ensure compliance with company QHSE systems.
Essential Skills & Requirements
  1. Good eyesight (not colour blind) and physically capable for the role.
  2. Basic knowledge of measuring equipment (calipers, profile projector, thread gauges, plug gauges, etc.).
  3. Familiarity with machined parts in a volume manufacturing environment.
  4. Ability to read drawings and understand general specifications.
  5. Computer literate, trustworthy, and a team player.
  6. Right to work in the UK with necessary documentation.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  1. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites if required.
  2. CMM knowledge/experience (Aberlink preferred).
  3. Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
