You will have a teaching qualification, full GTC Registration, and evidence of continuing Career Long Professional Learning.
You will have proven teaching experience, leadership and management experience, and expertise at senior management level in an education establishment. Significant professional competence and expertise within a related discipline, experience of developing and delivering professional learning, of performance improvement monitoring and analysing performance information, and experience of the use of attainment and performance data to improve standards is essential. You will have evidence of very effective practice in and understanding of high-quality learning and teaching, and experience of promoting and improving effective learning and teaching along with a good working knowledge of legislation and statutory duties in the related field.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
