A leading specialist civil engineering contractor based in Wales is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Quality Engineer will play a key part in the development and future works of the business, reporting directly to the Project Director & Head of Quality.

About the role of Quality Engineer

This regional contractor traditionally specializes in heavy civils & infrastructure projects across the UK. Projects include highways, rail, tunnelling, telecoms, and industrial units valuing up to £500M for private and framework clients. The Quality Engineer will assist the operational team and be based on site in Wales.

Responsibilities for Quality Engineer

• Overseeing and managing the quality systems from conception to completion
• Providing relevant system training as necessary
• Tracking and monitoring quality issues and providing solutions
• Regularly carrying out site inspections and tests

Requirements for Quality Engineer

• Previous experience using A-site is essential
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO standards
• Former Civil Engineering experience is mandatory
