  • Inspection Oversight: Perform first-off and in-process inspections to confirm that products meet design specifications.
  • Non-Conforming Products: Oversee the control and documentation of non-conforming products, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking.
  • Quality System Enhancements: Identify potential improvements to control plans, PFMEAs, and quality instructions.
  • Support for Quality Manager: Collaborate with the Quality Manager to apply quality tools and best practices within the production environment.

  • ISO 9001 Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO:9001 standards and experience in applying these within a production setting.
  • Mechanical Drawing Interpretation: Competence in interpreting mechanical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Measuring Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and understanding calibration processes.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams, as well as with suppliers and customers.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experienced with process management software.
  • Quality Tools Familiarity: Knowledge of quality management tools such as control plans, PFMEAs, and 8D reports.
