Quality Engineer

Are you a hands-on Quality Engineer with a passion for problem-solving? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using 8D, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to drive quality excellence?

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing team in Redditch. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and working closely with production teams to enhance processes and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, 5Y, and FMEA

Identify root causes of quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions

Support customer complaint resolution and ensure timely and effective responses

Conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement

Maintain quality documentation, control plans, and inspection processes

What We’re Looking For:

️ Strong problem-solving skills with experience using 8D methodology

️ Background in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries

️ Experience in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 environments (or similar quality standards)

️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

️ A proactive, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail
