Job Title: Quality Coordinator
Directorate: Technical Department, Quality division
Reports to: Technical Manager
Start date: ASAP
Location: Based at our Ashford site, 5 days a week (no hybrid)
Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm (1 hour unpaid for lunch break)
Salary: £30,000 - 32,000
To assist the Technical Manager in maintaining food safety, quality, and hygiene practices across the UK business. Provide competent and efficient support to both technical and interdepartmental functions. Ensure safety, quality, and legality of product and practices across UK Business.
Support other members of the technical team regarding issues as they arise. Work closely with members of other teams throughout Ardo. Actively assist others in gathering and generating data regarding quality and food safety. Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team's service delivery. Cover for the Technical Coordinator in their absence. Collaborate with other departments to complete necessary tasks.
Communicate with other relevant departments within Ardo, at all levels. Share information with the team. Keep the Technical Manager informed regarding any issues. Be competent using different platforms of communication such as teams, email, telephone, and written correspondence.
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion. Inspect products, raw materials, processes, and practices against standards and positively contribute to improving them over time. Trend data to report any out of ordinary spikes in microbiological or chemical or status quality issues. Generate and log relevant information to SAP system, review and retrieve relevant data when required to prove due diligence. Identify and report out of standard behaviours and practices, propose rectification.
