INTERACTION RECRUITMENT IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A PDI INSPECTOR IN FISHPONDS IMMEDIATE START!

This is a full-time permanent vacancy. The role is based on site in Fishponds, Bristol, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm. A full UK driving license is required with a maximum of 6 points for insurance purposes.

Purpose

As PDI Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are built to the correct specification and for recording and documenting all faults found by type and number.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets.
  • Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
  • Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
  • Carry out PDI's, safety checks, levels checks, and bodywork inspection on all types of vehicles.
  • Constructive liaison with workshop team members and working to deadlines.
  • Work with Logistics on vehicle collections and deliveries.
  • Support with introducing effective methods of inspection for both in-process build checks and final PDI checks, eliminating risk and improving throughput.
  • Ensure vans and trucks meet the correct VCA and CoP standards; in the case of failure, support the PDI team leader on containment/quarantine, reporting, and corrective measures.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality.
  • Brand experience is preferable; however, manufacturer training will be supplied.
  • Experience of driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
