This is an opportunity for a detail-orientated individual to work as part of the Quality Team to support the business by performing an inspection and sampling process on incoming materials, parts and supply chain components used in the manufacture of electrical and mechanical products. This role requires the individual to work closely with the goods inwards and manufacturing team to ensure that quality expectations are being met.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Carrying out inspections using various metrology devices (including a Vicivision CMM), adhering to internal and external requirements.
  2. Carrying out work within the investigation team during investigations into product non-conformities. This includes ensuring timely resolutions using 8D.
  3. Supporting the Head of Quality with continual improvement projects.
  4. Assisting the Quality department with additional functions (Calibration, ISIR, Audits).
Experience Required:
  1. Experience in working within Quality department in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Ability to read engineering drawing and use measuring devices.
  3. Experience in using or programming a CMM/VMM is required.
