Job description

Do you have experience of quality control? Do you have proficiency in using or programming a CMM/VMM? Do you come from a manufacturing background?


If so, then we have the opportunity for a talented and motivated Quality Control Inspector to be part of the Quality Team.


You will need to ensure continued improvement throughout the company with special attention to the goods inwards and manufacturing areas by performing inspections and sampling procedures on incoming materials, parts, and supply chain components used in the manufacturing process. You will need to document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the quality database.


To perform this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working in Quality within a manufacturing environment. Electrical/electronic skills are advantageous. You will need to have the ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools. Proficiency in using or programming a CMM/VMM is essential.


This role is based in Crewkerne, is a full-time permanent position, and is paying £28,000 PA. Other benefits include: Statutory Pension contribution, company life assurance scheme, discretionary companywide performance bonus, and 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
