Compliance/Regulatory/Quality Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes

The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the organisation as a Compliance Engineer. The role involves supporting product compliance research, monitoring EU Directives and regulations, and reviewing updates to the EU Official Journal and UK Government websites. The role suits a candidate with excellent attention to detail, experience in manufacturing and European law, and strong reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with Engineers across Technical Centres, European subsidiaries, and the overseas headquarters.
  2. Ensuring all legislative requirements are met, and product documentation remains complete, up to date, and legally sound.
  3. Responding to technical queries from customers.
  4. Potential future training to become an internal auditor, conducting audits under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or related fields such as law or sustainability.
  2. Experience in report writing.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to produce detailed technical reports.
  4. The ability to occasionally travel to Europe.
  5. Curiosity and a strong desire to learn and study.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience with standards, regulations, and directives.
  2. Background in a manufacturing company.
  3. Experience collaborating with test houses or notified bodies.
  4. Internal auditor experience.
