Job description

We are recruiting for a fantastic company located in Grantham, an experienced Quality Auditor to join their established team on a full-time, permanent basis. If you have experience within CRM, are caring & passionate, provide excellent communication both written and verbally, and are an experienced auditor, then this vacancy could certainly be for you!


As the Quality Auditor working closely as part of the North Division, you will ensure that the people we support have the highest standards of care and support through excellent quality auditing. Auditing the quality of services and providing detailed action plans to our local teams. To be a champion for exceptional care and support, including a person-centred ethos in every aspect of the role.


Your duties shall include, but are not limited to:

  1. Be able to provide a critical review of the status of care and support delivery within a service.
  2. Audit, action planning, and review.
  3. Provide guidance and assistance on remedial action planning and revisit services to test whether plans have been implemented and quality improvements achieved.
  4. Responsible for delivery of the quality audit programme, including undertaking regular quality audits, spot checks, writing reports, producing recommendations, and recording actions on Access.
  5. Provide guidance on remedial action planning and drive change to ensure standards are understood and met.
  6. Work in partnership with internal colleagues to improve quality across a designated group of services with a clear focus on delivering personalised care and support.
  7. Be aware and have an understanding of the standards set by CQC and each Local Authority monitoring tools and support services to prepare for inspection and contract monitoring.
  8. Provide monitoring and reporting data on quality to facilitate effective decision making. This will include analysing data, identifying and highlighting risks and concerns along with making recommendations for improvement.
  9. Ensure that Employee Guardians play an active role in quality monitoring of services, this will include working alongside and supporting our quality checkers.
  10. Revisit services to evidence that action plans are being implemented and quality improvements are being achieved.
  11. Support operational innovation and good practice to support culture change within the organisation.
  12. Taking an active part in the shared on-call for the Division.

Qualifications/Education/Training:

  1. Desirable NVQ Level 3 in adult care - advanced level or equivalent qualifications or working towards.
  2. Proficient in MS Office and web-based services.
  3. Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity.

Experience:

  1. Experience of managing a care or support related service.
  2. Experience of carrying out or being subject to regulated activity/inspections.
  3. A commitment to delivering person-centred approaches to personalised support.
  4. Can identify innovative practice and share learning effectively with colleagues.

The successful candidate must show the following:

  1. Flexible, adaptable, and willing to face up to changing circumstances and new opportunities.
  2. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and motivated towards excellence and improvement.
  3. Ability to work on own initiative and to established deadlines.
  4. Ability to evaluate information, assess risks, identify concerns and make recommendations.
  5. Excellent written, oral, listening, and communication skills.
  6. Willing to travel to different areas as required.
  7. Working flexibly in accordance with needs of post, occasional evenings and weekends.
  8. Able to work as part of a dispersed team of colleagues.
  9. Full Driving Licence.

Salary:

To be discussed at interview stage and dependent on experience.


Hours of work:

38 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times).


This post shall be subject to a 6-month probationary period during which your performance will be monitored on a regular basis by your line manager.
