Quality Auditor

Salary: £25K - £27K
Contract: Temp to Perm

An award-winning food manufacturing company in Wythenshawe is looking for a Quality Auditor to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established business, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

About the Quality Auditor Role:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for quality control and inspection of all meal products. Working closely with the technical and operations teams, you will help maintain product consistency, ensure document accuracy, and uphold food safety standards.

Quality Auditor Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all aspects of the manufacturing process comply with food safety legislation, standard operating procedures, and customer requirements.
  2. Accurately record checks and controls as part of the positive release system.
  3. Maintain site hygiene standards to support safe food production.
  4. Conduct scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly audits, including Product Quality Checks, Metal Detection, Microbiological & Water Analysis, Glass/Perspex Audits, and Good Manufacturing Practice Audits.
  5. Gather and provide information to support any enforcement authority actions.

Quality Auditor Key Skills & Experience

  1. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication.
  3. Self-motivated and proactive with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Ability to identify potential risks and quality issues.
  5. Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and other office applications.
