Quality Auditor

Location: New Malden, hybrid - 3 days a week onsite

Clearance: Applicants must currently hold SC security clearance

Overview

As a Quality Auditor, you will conduct internal audits and oversee external and corporate audits following a risk-based audit schedule. Your role involves evaluating the effectiveness of the company's management systems in supporting business operations while ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Systems and Audit Manager in setting and implementing objectives.
  • Support the collection and analysis of audit-related metrics for Management Reviews.
  • Help develop and maintain a three-year risk-based audit program covering internal processes, programs, external ISO, corporate, customer, and supplier audits.
  • Map audits against ISO clauses to ensure full coverage over the three-year period, addressing any gaps.
  • Report audit results and non-conformities to the Management Systems and Audit Manager.
  • Create and deliver audit-related training and briefings for new and existing employees as needed.
  • Work with Management Systems Analysts to identify and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct external and corporate audits.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits.

Essential qualifications / experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000 or ISO 14001 standards.
  • Lead Auditor qualification in one or more of the above standards.
  • Extensive experience in conducting audits against one or more of the above standards.
  • Experience in driving resolution and closure of non-conformities.
  • Previous experience of working in cross-functional teams; the ability to build strong, positive working relationships with colleagues outside of your team is vital to success in this role.
