Qualifications

About The Role

  • Maintenance of the documented production Quality Management System
  • Ensuring effective and timely completion of production process internal audits
  • Participate in external audits of the production process including compliance audits to BS EN ISO 9001
  • Identify opportunities to improve and assist in developing corrective actions towards continual improvement of the production process
  • Run the Quality Assurance laboratory effectively and efficiently
  • Manage, lead, train and evaluate competency of staff under your control for their safety, effectiveness and efficiency of operation
  • Liaise with relevant central process areas with regards to product integrity
  • Provide analysis and reports from internal controls and customer complaints
  • Participate in product, production process and raw material developments
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Maintain accuracy of raw material stocks
  • Supervise the upkeep of the site
  • Act as quality representative as prescribed by BS EN ISO 9001
Hours of Work: 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

About You

  • Previous experience of working as a Quality Assurance Team Leader or similar
  • At least 1 year of people management experience with a transformational leadership style to promote teamwork, open communication, can-do attitude, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • The ability to initiate, manage, evaluate and accept change
  • Experience of using a QMS Quality Management System
  • Laboratory Testing experience
  • Experience of quality policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage, maintain and operate quality control systems
  • Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Encourage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Take part and support the 5Ss, Kaizen and Visual Management techniques
