The Role
We have a vacancy for a Quality Assurance Practitioner to join Children’s Social Care and support the Quality Assurance Service Manager in both the development and delivery of the quality assurance framework, promoting practice that leads to sustained improvement and high-quality outcomes for children and young people.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for and experience in identifying ways of continually improving how we deliver our support services and will take an active role in helping shape how we implement our vision of “doing our very best for Herefordshire children and young people and their families”.

You will know what good practice is and looks like, using this to develop solutions in a collaborative way with colleagues and partner agencies, working to ensure that practice is of high quality throughout the service. The ultimate aim is for us to know how we are making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people we support.

You will have good people skills, have the ability to understand the diverse needs of others, not shy away from difficult conversations, and embody the shared values of children’s services, placing children and young people at the heart of what we do. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that takes an active role in steering how we develop our practice as an organisation.
