About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of fresh products delivered to our Knightsbridge receiving bank. Reporting to the Food Safety Manager, you will monitor and manage the quality of products from reception to end user, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and quality management protocols.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  2. Temperature Checks: Ensure products are delivered at the correct temperatures and maintain accurate temperature records.
  3. Inspection & Documentation: Oversee delivery checks, inspect products, and ensure all paperwork is completed.
  4. Product Rejection Management: Manage the rejection process for substandard products, informing suppliers and relevant internal parties.
  5. Support Supply Chain: Assist in processing return to vendor (RTV) requests and recording quality issues.
  6. Storage Management: Ensure accepted products are stored correctly and that stock rotation and identification are maintained.
  7. Hygiene Monitoring: Maintain hygiene standards in receiving banks, fridges, and freezers.
  8. Environmental Monitoring: Conduct ATP and traditional swabs as per schedule.
  9. Pest Control: Assist in closing out actions from pest control audits and floor walks.
  10. Regular Checks: Perform regular checks in kitchen and restaurant storage areas to ensure product shelf life is maintained.
  11. Troubleshooting: Provide support to restaurants and food halls with regular floor walks.

About You

You will be able to demonstrate strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask, efficiently handling multiple responsibilities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in paperwork and stock management. Your flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities ensure you can respond effectively to dynamic situations. With a strong commitment to company values and work ethics, you will uphold high standards and perform your duties with minimal supervision, showcasing your independence and reliability.

You will also have:

  1. Food Hygiene Level 2 Training: Essential for ensuring food safety standards.
  2. PC Literacy: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and preferably SAP.
  3. Customer Service: Strong focus on excellent service to both internal and external parties.
