Quality Assurance Officer

35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
GBP35k-GBP45k dependent on experience
Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively representing a leading organisation based in Ashford, in their search for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer.
This role requires a compliance professional with a meticulous attention to detail and a calm, confident methodical approach.
Working as part of a small team, key duties include:
- Carrying out internal audits, ensuring adherence to relevant standards (ISO 17024)
- Regularly reviewing audit reports and communicating amendments to internal and external stakeholders
- Investigation of and reporting on non-conformities
- Extensive collation and analysis of data
- Providing and preparing reports, presentations and recommendations to the wider team
- Process mapping
- Delivering training
- Supporting stakeholders both internal and external by offering guidance and advice where appropriate
- Accurate document control including drafting, reviewing, storage and distribution
- Any other duties as required
To be considered, you will have:
- A proven track record working in an analytical quality role
- Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
- Carried out process mapping in a previous role
- A meticulous attention to detail
- An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and verbal
- The ability to use Excel to analyse data and present findings clearly
- Good personal presentation skills
- Experience delivering training
- Managed projects previously
- Some experience of risk assessments
- A cool, calm, methodical approach, even under pressure
- Worked with external agencies, membership organisations or professional bodies, ensuring compliance with regulations, specifications or standards
- Demonstrable experience in the management and implementation of quality management systems.
The BEST candidates will have:
- Experience of the following quality management systems: ISO 17024; ISO 17021; ISO 9001
- A professional auditor qualification/certification
- Worked within a manufacturing, engineering or pharmaceutical discipline
