If you want your next Quality Assurance Manager role to be somewhere that they promote internally, constantly work on improving standards, and somewhere that the supermarkets don't "rule the roost", this job might be worth looking at.
You would need to be used to managing QAs in the UK food manufacturing industry and standing up for Technical with other departments, but this is the kind of place where you can move up in the department and the culture in the technical department is collaborative and supportive.
Despite spending a lot of your time in the factory, you would be an integral part of the office technical team and would be part of the journey of improvement.
Monday to Friday, office hours.
