Job description

Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities
  • Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.
  • Responsible for effective transitioning of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams in the accomplishment of project activities and objectives.
  • Provides group facilitation, interviewing training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Provides daily supervision and direction.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
  • Five (5) years of related experience to:
    • Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems.
    • Conduct quality assurance tests and quality audits.
    • Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation.
    • Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and provide recommendations to address deficiencies.
    • Oversee project team activities and monitor project taskings and milestones.
    • Coordinate activities among multiple project teams.
    • Supervisory experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $78,100.00/Yr. - USD $164,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides for the welfare of its employees and their dependents through a comprehensive benefits program by offering healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance programs, and education and training assistance.
