Quality Assurance Manager

Reporting To: Quality & Safety Director

Description

To ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The Quality Assurance Manager will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail. They must fully understand the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable of driving sustainable growth.

What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists:
  1. Control and implement the quality management system to ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and Pasta Evangelists requirements.
  2. Define and maintain product and process specifications and challenge factory processes.
  3. Lead NPD process, develop and launch products that meet Pasta Evangelists expectations.
  4. Deliver and maintain any third party accreditation standards.
  5. Ensure that any non-conformance management process is robust to deliver the improvement required and identify the root cause of the problem.
  6. Monitor customer feedback and complaints and ensure that customers' expectations are met.
  7. Act as a key technical contact to provide knowledge on matters of food quality, safety, science/technology & due diligence.
  8. Regularly monitor and audit all aspects of the quality management system.
  9. Ensure all suppliers meet approval requirements and maintain records to prove BRC certification for all suppliers.
  10. Use supplier and raw material knowledge to identify potential/emerging integrity risks throughout the supply chain.
  11. Proactively drive ways of working and results to give robust governance.
  12. Supervise Quality Controllers, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
Who you are:
  1. Food related degree or equivalent experience
  2. Internal auditor qualified
  3. HACCP qualification
  4. Regulatory knowledge and awareness of food legislation
  5. Motivated and strong influencer
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  7. People management skills
