We're building out our Tech/Data team.

Adanola are searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join us on our growth journey. The role will report to our Head of Product Development and be the first role of its kind in the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and document manual test cases to validate software features, covering functional, regression, integration, and usability testing. Identify and document defects and inconsistencies.
  • Conduct end-to-end system testing to validate the integrated components' functionality, performance, and reliability within the full software environment.
  • Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing, to ensure software meets requirements.
  • Identify, log, and track defects or inconsistencies within software applications, ensuring clear documentation for development and follow-up.
  • Work closely with our developers to understand system functionality, resolve issues, and verify fixes.
  • Review and analyze user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and testability.
  • Prepare and deliver clear test status reports to provide insight into testing progress, test coverage, and quality issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in both manual and system testing, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies or issues in complex software applications.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to managing responsibilities across various test levels, including system testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Linear, Bugzilla).
