Quality and Technical Manager (Textiles/Coating)

Are you a textile expert? Especially in wet processing?

As the Quality & Technical Manager you'll oversee the production, quality and R&D.

About the role:

1. As the Quality & Technical Manager, you'll take on a stand alone role with focus on quality, technical and R&D.
2. You'll oversee all quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications.
3. Maintain and develop quality management systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
4. Carry-out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
5. Oversee lab testing of raw materials, coatings and finished textile products.
6. Develop and refine testing methods to improve efficiency.
7. Analyse samples and provide data to assist with accurate costings.
8. Maintain and update COSHH data for all incoming raw materials.
9. Record figures of solvent usage in production and generate reductions scheme figures.
10. Collaborate with teams to identify improvement processes, reduce waste and drive efficiency.

1. You'll have strong experience in textiles, coatings and chemicals.
2. Be development focused with a strong background in the technicalities and quality of coating/wet processing.
3. Have an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
4. Be a methodical thinker with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
5. Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively.
6. Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulations and testing methods.
7. Be a fantastic team player, able to collaborate with multiple teams when needed.
