We are hiring for a Quality & Technical Manager to support a small food factory with their product development and compliance efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with the relevant accreditations to take ownership of quality assurance and technical procedures within a dynamic environment.

Duties of a Quality & Technical Manager

You will be working closely with the leadership and operations teams and will be responsible for:

• Product and business development to support growth.
• Customer engagement and communication, ensuring satisfaction and alignment.
• Managing shipments, certifications, and documentation.
• Creating, implementing, and maintaining compliance procedures.
• Ensuring adherence to BRCGS standards and managing preparation for audits.
• Presenting during audits and ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered and compliant.
• Developing recipes and ensuring their confidentiality by signing appropriate agreements.
• Assisting with staff training on compliance and quality standards.
• Other general duties to support the smooth operation of the factory.

Skills and Experience of a Quality & Technical Manager

As a Quality & Technical Manager, you need to have experience with:

• Food industry standards and certifications, including BRCGS.
• Compliance management and audit preparation.
• Recipe development and confidentiality processes.

It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and shipments.
• An ability to work long-term in a committed and settled capacity.
