Job Title: Qualified social worker – Stockton-On-Tees – Adults First Contact Team
Location: Stockton-On-Tees
Rate: £198 Per Day

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Qualified social worker for the Adults First Contact Team based in Stockton-On-Tees.

As a Qualified Social Worker, you’ll support adults and carers, focusing on Adult Safeguarding and front-door decision-making. In this fast-paced role, you’ll assess safeguarding alerts, manage referral waiting lists, and prioritize cases based on risk. To be successful in this role, you must have SWE registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Requirements for the role:

  • Provide a comprehensive social work service within Stockton Borough’s First Contact team, the front door for Adult Social Care.
  • Support adults and carers, with a focus on Adult Safeguarding and front-door decision-making.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, using expertise to assess safeguarding alerts and refer cases for further investigation.
  • Assist in managing referral waiting lists, prioritizing cases based on risk.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Team Manager, Team Manager, and Adult Safeguarding Team.
  • Based at Dunedin House, with some remote work flexibility once trained.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • SWE registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
