Job description

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Hospital team with the Social Care industry in Enfield.

Responsibilities include:

1. You will assess and review their care and support needs.
2. You will provide information, advice and care to adults with care and support needs so that they have the maximum opportunity to regain their independence or become less dependent on other people or services.
3. You will provide a high standard of social work arising out of the Council's legal duties and powers in accordance with divisional and area policy, procedures, guidelines and the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers.
4. You will undertake the more complex assessments of care needs, risks and mental capacity for people who require professional input.
5. You will carry out statutory and non-statutory safeguarding enquiries.
6. You will determine Care Act eligibility thresholds.

Minimum Requirements:

1. HCPC Registration.
2. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
3. Eligibility to work in the UK.
4. Experienced social workers with at least 4 years' experience.
5. Experience in working in a strength-based way with individuals.
6. Able to identify the presenting problem early on, therefore offering focused and effective intervention.
7. Has worked or has a preference in working in teams that offer short-term intervention and work at a fast pace.
8. IT literate and ideally has had experience using Mosaic.
