Job description

BCP Adults Social Worker – Adult Social Care - £32ph

Position Title: Adults Social Worker
Location: BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole)
Salary: £32
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

About Us:
BCP Council is committed to ensuring that adults within our communities are supported to live independent, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Our Adult Social Care teams work across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals, families, and carers. Join us in making a real difference to people's lives, providing them with the support they need, when they need it most.

Role Overview:
There is a requirement for in-person work and travel in the BCP geographic area; however, some remote WFH or a base within the BCP area is also available outside of the in-person requirement. There is some flexibility regarding working pattern and hours for the right candidate, and visits can be scheduled at mutually convenient times to suit those involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The work involves undertaking outstanding review work in the Learning Disability Service.
  2. This involves scheduling and undertaking in-person reviews – sometimes a reassessment, carers assessments, and some support planning as individually needed. The work is screened and allocated by the supervising manager but authorized through the LD QA processes - support will be given.
  3. Some experience of working within the Mosaic case management system would be highly preferable, but training and support can be provided.
