An established industry player is seeking a dedicated psychologist to join their Veterans Support Service. This role involves providing specialized therapy to veterans, focusing on trauma and complex mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychological assessments and therapeutic modalities such as CBT and EMDR. Qualified Psychologist or Psychological Therapist
Work from home and in the community in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire or Northamptonshire.
37.5 hours a week, although part-time / flexible working is considered.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic psychologist to join our team to primarily provide therapy in our Veterans’ Complex Treatment Service, which is part of the national Op Courage: Veteran Mental Health & Wellbeing pathway in the East Midlands and East of England. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with trauma and complex presentations, preferably with military personnel.
The successful applicant will be registered with the HCPC or BABCP or BACP and ideally the BPS/ACP. Experience in treating complex mental health needs and using therapeutic modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy is essential.
