Qualified Dental Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join our busy team in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. We are an independently owned mixed NHS/Private dental practice in the heart of Chapelhall, Airdrie providing all aspects of routine dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry and dental implants to our patients. Due to expansion we are looking to take on an additional team member. We require a qualified dental nurse who is hard working, reliable, keen to learn and be involved in providing excellent care, in a supportive and positive environment. Our focus is to have a friendly environment for all staff and patients and make it an enjoyable place to work.

Position is permanent and full time, but part time can be considered.

Pay and hours can be discussed at interview stage, dependent on experience and availability.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
2. Ensuring the surgery is prepared for patient treatments
3. Providing excellent patient care and maintaining comfort throughout treatments
4. Managing infection control processes
5. Maintaining stock levels of dental materials and equipment
6. Recording patient notes accurately on IT systems, maintaining patient confidentiality
7. Assisting in reception duties

Qualifications

1. Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications
2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
3. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
4. Proficient in English, both written and verbal
5. IT proficiency for maintaining digital records

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
