Activate Learning have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Careers Adviser to join our Careers team - you could be supporting young people to learn about the world of work and begin planning their next steps into future employment!

Day-to-day you'll be delivering Career Planning and Options workshops, working with students on their UCAS or Apprenticeship applications and supporting students in their job search and application process.

Through 1-1 impartial guidance meetings you'll help students explore their skills and interests and the employment opportunities available to them, supporting them to make well informed choices about their future.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity available at our Oxford campus, working 22.5 hours per week (0.61 FTE).

What do you need to be successful as a Careers Adviser at Activate Learning?

We are looking for a qualified careers guidance professional with excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. You must have an L6 qualification in Careers Guidance, and experience of delivering both interactive workshops and 1-1 guidance meetings, creating SMART action plans to develop learner's career ideas and employability.

Candidates should have knowledge of qualification types and pathways and an understanding of the Gatsby benchmarks and the CDI framework.

In addition, you will have the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, employers, and other external partners to assist our delivery of a varied careers education programme.
