Job Role: QTS English Teacher - Secondary School, Stoke-on-Trent

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract Type: Temporary/Permanent opportunities available

Hours: Full-time/Part-time

Aspire People are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. If you have a passion for literature, language, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you!

The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature to KS3 & KS4 students.
2. Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Prepare students for GCSE exams with effective teaching strategies.
5. Support the school's English department in curriculum development and enrichment activities.

What We're Looking For:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
2. Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
3. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
4. A passion for education and student success.
5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
